About the position

The Accountant position at 3D Technology Services, Inc. is designed for an experienced professional to assist the Accounting Manager with various accounting functions, including accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) duties. Responsibilities

• Ensure that accounts payable is paid according to prioritized payment systems set forth by the Accounting Manager
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
• Assist Accounting Manager in the preparation of Year-End Tax documents/reports for CPA Reporting
• Compile financial reporting packages, including month-end
• Assist Accounting Manager in the maintenance of operating budgets, including reporting actual results against forecast

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• Proficiency in Sage 100 Contractor
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal correspondence
• Commitment to detailed financial accounting and reporting
• Able to reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Experienced in AR/AP mandatory with payroll/certified payroll a plus
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to prioritize projects efficiently

Nice-to-haves

• Job-Costing experience preferred but not required
• 3 years of GAAP experience preferred
