About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting specialist with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting to assist with various accounting and financial functions. This role involves overseeing vendor rebates and promotions, providing financial analysis, and preparing reports for management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent computer literacy, and effective communication abilities, making a significant impact in our accounting department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the billing, reconciliation, and reimbursement of all manufacturer Spiff programs.
• Provide monthly analysis, commentaries, and sales incentive reports for management.
• Prepare and record journal entries in SAP to pay out the sales incentives.
• Assist in researching sales incentive differences between vendors and sales representatives.
• Maintain and load the profit builder.
• Scorecard of spiff performance for finance and marketing, including sales dollars by promotion and ROI promotion comparisons.
• Perform various analytical functions, including analyzing proposed new programs and market changes.
• Provide monthly reports for vendors such as Merial Zactran and Miltex/Integra.
• Assist management in analyzing their business to improve operating and financial performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Office Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems such as SAP.
• Strong analytical skills.
