About the position

As an Accountant at OMP, you will play a crucial role in the Finance team, responsible for processing purchase invoices, managing expense reports, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This position offers the opportunity to develop your financial skills in a dynamic international tech environment, working independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Processing and booking purchase invoices and expense notes.
• Obtaining approval of purchase invoices and expense notes through the workflow system.
• Reviewing expense reports.
• Performing bank account and credit card postings.
• Assisting with the AP review, such as subledger clean-up.
• Investigating (late) fees and managing online vendor accounts.
• Communicating with vendors, such as sending payment reminders.
• Carrying out finance-related administrative tasks, such as following up on the general finance mailbox.
• Completing special ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• 3+ years of staff accounting experience.
• Familiarity with general accounting principles.
• Good understanding of debits and credits.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Accurate and detail-oriented.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service oriented.
