About the position

The Accountant at Devils Lake Yacht Club is a full-time seasonal role responsible for comprehensive financial reporting and management. This position involves handling accounts payable and receivable, payroll, tax filings, and preparing financial statements for the Board of Governors. Additionally, the Accountant will support club activities, including budget management and membership communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of financial reporting including accounts payable and receivable.
• Oversee cash management and payroll processes.
• Prepare and file tax documents and governmental reports.
• Conduct account reconciliations and ensure timely preparation of financial statements for the Board of Governors.
• Assist with club activities such as annual elections and budget preparation.
• Support the Club Manager with financial planning and reporting.
• Manage membership communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong system skills and experience with restaurant management software.
