About the position

Williams Signal, Inc. is seeking an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations. The role emphasizes confidentiality, reliability, and excellent organizational skills, along with strong customer relations and clear communication abilities. The accountant will oversee transaction entries, account reconciliations, and the production of monthly financial statements, reporting directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting staff responsible for day-to-day transactions
• Process weekly payroll
• Conduct monthly credit card and bank reconciliations
• Produce timely and accurate monthly financial statements
• Assist in the creation of the annual budget

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or business administration
• 2 years of accounting experience
• Fluency with QuickBooks Online or other accounting software
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
• Analytical skills and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work under pressure
• Interpersonal skills and strong time management
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Proficient knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Firm understanding of GAAP and its proper application
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and ERP systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and work ethic
