Job Title: Accountant
Job Description
Your role as an Accountant is to assist the Chief Financial Officer in administering all accounting functions. All processes and entries must be done accurately and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Preparing financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Supporting month, quarter, and year-end close.
Assisting with fieldwork production for annual financial reviews and insurance and 401(k) audits.
Reconciling and balancing general ledger accounts.
Maintaining and reconciling fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
Preparing monthly and/or quarterly bank borrowing bases.
Assisting with budget and forecasting processes.
Completing other administrative and special projects as assigned.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
1-3 years of full cycle accounting experience preferred.
CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate Excel skills required).
Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop and/or Trimble Viewpoint is a plus.
Must be detailed, analytical, and organized.
Ability and willingness to meet business-critical deadlines.
Ability to effectively interact and work in a team environment.
