About the position

goTRG is seeking an experienced, energetic, and results-driven Accountant. In this role, you will develop processes and procedures for allocating costs across various programs and services at our facilities. You will collaborate cross-functionally on key projects, including sales pricing proposals, client reconciliation, new programs, and service cost analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately record facility cost allocations in the General Ledger monthly for program-specific P&L reporting.
  • Collaborate with Operations to develop labor productivity standards and capacity utilization requirements for each program's operating processes.
  • Determine and implement cost accounting procedures and methods.
  • Prepare and analyze cost reports and conduct costing audits.
  • Examine and ensure accurate allocation of unusual cost records.
  • Prepare detailed reconciliation for all B2C, B2B, and service transactions for assigned accounts.
  • Create and maintain process documentation for assigned accounts.
  • Conduct account profitability reviews with Account Managers.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Research and implement process improvements, including software enhancements and workflow optimizations.
  • Assist with customer audit support requests.
  • Provide monthly accruals for financial closings on amounts owed and due to clients.
  • Aid in the reconciliation of new accounts, ensuring accuracy with Account Managers.
  • Develop SOPs for all reconciliations.
  • Review monthly financials for accuracy in sales and cost of goods sold.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Accounting, Planning, or Finance roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Retail/Manufacturing or Inventory/Merchandise planning experience preferred.
  • Expertise in inventory cost roll-forward.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
