About the position

The Accountant and Tax Preparer at Simple Dimple Paintless Dent Repair is responsible for managing financial records, preparing taxes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and communication skills, proficient in accounting software, and experienced in tax preparation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain financial records, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Analyze financial data to optimize business operations.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (1040, 1120, 1065, etc.).
• Conduct tax interviews with management to gather necessary information.
• Research and resolve tax-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date on tax law changes and regulations.
• Assist with financial planning and budgeting.
• Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounting and tax preparation.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
