About the position
The Accounting Administrator position at Florida Auto Dealer is a full-time role focused on managing various accounting functions within an automotive dealership. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial transactions, maintaining compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive approach to accounting tasks and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Back up for floor plan - payoffs/add on with bank.
- Post banking including wires, funding and daily transactions as needed.
- Daily cash receipting and deposits.
- Reconcile prior day banking postings against bank activities and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Maintain cash/credit card clearance schedules.
- Generate wires for vehicle purchasing when needed.
- Floor Plan - Vehicle flooring and payoffs, schedules, and reports, when needed.
- Back up for deal breakdown for funding & title tag work.
- Other miscellaneous reports to management.
- Perform some administrative duties.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with accounting software
- Mid-level accounting skills
- Dealership experience
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of CDK System
- Experience in a fast-paced automotive dealership
