About the position

As an Accounting Advisory Manager, you will be responsible for leading teams that consult with clients on complex accounting transactions. Your role will involve helping clients navigate their transactional, regulatory, and strategic needs, leveraging the resources, environment, and support provided to ensure your success. You will specifically support clients on complex accounting matters that arise from regulatory or strategic business changes, such as the adoption of new accounting standards, accounting framework conversions, and assistance with IPOs or other public offerings. Additionally, you will provide on-call accounting advice and build strong relationships with clients and project teams, engaging client stakeholders to identify, assess, and deliver substantiated advice. This collaborative approach is essential for achieving success together. From the outset, you will be empowered by the greater CFO Advisory team to assist clients in making strategic moves that align with their vision while also helping you achieve your professional goals with confidence. Your daily responsibilities will include consulting on complex accounting transactions, ensuring that work is performed timely and in compliance with regulatory requirements, and overseeing multiple engagement teams to deliver divestiture solutions. This includes evaluating carve-out readiness, supporting 100-day planning and operational transitions, and assisting in the separation of businesses for financial sponsors and corporate clients. You will also support SEC regulatory filings for carve-outs and facilitate the preparation of carve-out financials. In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to identify market trends to proactively solve problems and serve as a sought-after adviser to clients and colleagues. You will assist audit teams in evaluating accounting policies related to new, significant, or complex accounting matters, and you will play a key role in training and supervising less experienced colleagues, providing them with consistent and regular feedback. Your work environment will be flexible, allowing you to work at client sites, in the office, or remotely, depending on the needs of your team and clients. You will represent the company at recruiting and professional networking events and will have opportunities to build your technical and professional skills through formal training. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
