About the position

The Accounting Analyst position at ADM is an exempt level role focused on managing complex accounting projects independently. Analysts are expected to identify problems and propose solutions while demonstrating expertise in accounting systems and processes. The role involves significant interaction with management and various departments, requiring strong communication skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and reconciling warehouse inventory reconciliations
• Completing monthly accounting work per US GAAP guidelines and performing relevant analysis
• Completing annual review/revision of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements) and process flows
• Working with relevant business partners to provide insight and analysis into financial results
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements and/or supporting schedules
• Performing quarterly analysis and reporting
• Engaging proactively in the design and implementation of process change.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong inventory reconciliation experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Internal Controls
• Financial Analysis and operations
• Knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance
• Designing Queries and Reports using Financial Systems

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and large ERP systems
