About the position

The Accounting Analyst at Community Services Consortium (CSC) plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of a government Community Action Agency. This position involves grant monitoring, financial analysis, and the development of financial policies and procedures. The analyst will work closely with the Finance Manager to provide customer service and support to staff and agency partners, ensuring effective management of agency funds and compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in grant monitoring and oversight.
  • Provide customer service and support to CSC staff and agency partners.
  • Perform program and financial analysis.
  • Formulate and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and prepare the agency's operating budget.
  • Provide technical assistance to the Executive Director and Department Directors.
  • Develop and maintain financial systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements.
  • Monitor and manage agency funds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Public Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
