About the position

The Corporate Accounting Analyst II will apply complex accounting principles to analyze financial information, prepare reports, and implement accounting controls. This role requires expertise in U.S. GAAP, particularly in areas related to consolidations, acquisitions, and divestitures. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate financial insights effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Execute moderately complex financial tasks accurately and timely.
  • Perform month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and audit trail support.
  • Analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy and prepare account reconciliations.
  • Analyze monthly financial results and communicate trends and insights.
  • Collect and analyze financial data to prepare monthly combined financial statements and reports.
  • Assist in evaluating and documenting accounting consequences of potential transactions.
  • Participate in monthly financial review meetings.
  • Provide guidance to Accounting/Finance personnel on financial accounting procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining and applying internal controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, or a High School Diploma/GED with four years of relevant experience.
  • Three years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
  • General understanding of US GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley, and SEC regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
