About the position

The Accounting Analyst III/Senior, Financial Reporting role at Boardwalk Pipelines is a critical position within the Financial Reporting group, responsible for the preparation, review, analysis, and filing of both internal and external financial reports. This position requires strong organizational and analytical skills, along with a keen attention to detail to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of Form 10-Q/K, FERC annual and quarterly filings, standalone reporting and underlying support and disclosures
• Assisting with the preparation of various internal management reports
• Coordinate and ensure effective and professional cross-collaboration with all departments within the company for reporting and regulatory matters
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations
• Maintain strong internal control procedures related to financial reporting
• Stay up to date on changes in reporting guidelines and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance
• Assist in ad hoc projects and support financial reporting initiatives as needed

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Excel and Word

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of financial reporting experience
• Midstream/Energy industry experience
• FERC reporting experience
• Workiva and XBRL experience
