About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships with our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of financial concepts, enabling them to assist customers effectively with their inquiries and concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing accurate information and solutions.
  • Support clients in understanding financial statement preparation and financial analysis.
  • Utilize knowledge of accrual accounting and QuickBooks.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues and improve service delivery.
  • Provide mentoring to new team members, sharing expertise in financial concepts and customer service best practices.

Requirements

  • Public accounting experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Knowledge of governmental accounting
  • Financial analysis skills
  • Experience in financial statement preparation
  • Understanding of financial concepts
  • Mentoring skills
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Payroll experience (1 year)
  • Accrual accounting knowledge
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
