About the position

The Accounting and Data Analyst position at AssurancePlus is a full-time role that supports the Accounting Manager and the accounting team by handling various accounting and analytical tasks. The role involves processing accounts receivable, reconciling accounts, and generating reports, making it ideal for individuals who excel in teamwork and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Process daily accounts receivable from clients (checks/ACHs)
• Reconcile and work with clients to solve issues
• Creation and maintenance of monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports
• Sort, reconcile, and import data into company database
• Create and send payments to agents and vendors
• Invoice creation and sending to clients
• Customer service and answering phones
• Creation of new reports as needed
• Assist with other Accounting Department tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables)
• Proficient with Microsoft Access
• Proficient with QuickBooks
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• General Accounting experience
• Data/Financial Analysis experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field

Nice-to-haves
