About the position

As an Accounting and Payroll Clerk at PartnerCo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the company's financial operations. This position involves processing payroll, maintaining financial records, and providing administrative support to the accounting and legal teams. You will be responsible for managing payroll compliance, handling KYC banking documentation, and assisting with various accounting tasks, making it essential for candidates to have a solid understanding of accounting principles and payroll processing.

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Process KYC documents with banking institutions.
  • Manage the company corporate card system.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts related to payroll.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end payroll closing processes.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Support the accounting team with various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and payroll processing is required.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with global payroll processing preferred.
  • Experience with payroll software and accounting systems preferred.
