About the position

The Accounting & Payroll Coordinator at VMP Healthcare and Community Living is responsible for managing payroll functions and accounts payable. This role involves processing bi-weekly payroll, handling unemployment claims, assisting with accounts payable, and serving as the primary contact for payroll inquiries. The position is integral to ensuring accurate financial operations within the organization, which is dedicated to providing senior healthcare and community living services.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll through HRIS system.
  • Pull reports to conduct financial analysis for executive leadership.
  • Submit HSA and 403(b) contributions on a bi-weekly basis based on payroll deductions.
  • Process and respond to unemployment requests.
  • Assist Accounting department with Accounts Payable.
  • Act as first point of contact for general payroll matters.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Human Resources or Accounting, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience/training in accounting or payroll functions.
  • Experience with Paycor is a plus.
