About the position
The position is for a Part-Time Accounting and QuickBooks Instructor at the Center for Adult Education, located at the Lawrence Campus. The instructor will work up to 8 hours per week, with the current schedule being Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The instructor will be responsible for teaching various QuickBooks topics, including chart of accounts, vendor lists, cash sales, invoicing, payments, deposits, bank reconciliation, and more. The role involves creating a syllabus, instructing students, assessing and grading their competencies, submitting grades, and administering evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Create syllabus

- Assess & grade students regarding course competencies
- Submit grades to Division

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Experience teaching in a community college setting and workplace settings
- Experience working with multilevel classes and differentiated instruction
- Finance and Accounting background
Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree in Education or related field
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Experience working with and supporting a culturally diverse population
