About the position

The Accounting AP/AR Associate role at LG H&H Americas involves supporting the Key Account Sales and Finance Management teams by managing accounts payable and receivable functions. This position is crucial for ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining effective relationships with brokers and clients. The associate will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including reconciling customer accounts, managing cash flow forecasts, and assisting with ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Key Account Sales and Finance Management to support brokers and clients.
• Coordinate sales system activities and reporting, including data validation and issue resolution.
• Build analytics and reporting to support the sales team, including pipeline projections.
• Reconcile customer accounts, validate transaction records, and file claims for discrepancies.
• Manage customer accounts and perform bookkeeping tasks.
• Post daily cash receipts, including wires and deposits.
• Maintain and review all companies' AP/AR modules, including client setup and aging reports.
• Conduct customer service collection calls.
• Assist the Finance department with cash flow forecasts and AP/AR matters.
• Support ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in accounting or finance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships.
• Demonstrated competency in multi-tasking and independent decision-making.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
