About the position

The Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper at Trident Aircraft, Inc. is responsible for processing accounts payable and receivable, data entry, and credit card reconciliation. This full-time position requires a flexible schedule and involves maintaining accurate financial records and generating financial reports using QuickBooks and other accounting software.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by performing general accounting duties.
  • Data entry.
  • Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to generate financial reports.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and enhance communication across departments.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of QuickBooks experience
  • At least 2-3 years of bookkeeping/accounting assistant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare and deliver reports
  • Relationship building skills to work with peers, superiors and clients
  • Working technical knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, and policies and procedures as it relates to Accounts Payable
  • Ability to operate fax, scanner, copier, telephone, adding machine, calculator
  • Knowledge of and ability to operate computer equipment and Microsoft Office Suite software
  • Clear understanding of policies and procedures
  • Commitment to follow all local and corporate policies and procedures as they relate to Accounts
