About the position

The Accounting Associate at Stefanini is responsible for managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes in accordance with company policies. This role involves processing vendor invoices, validating payments, compiling customer invoices, and maintaining effective communication with vendors and customers. The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Process cases in ASIST to execute AP and AR processes at an event level.
• Attach vendor invoices to cases and verify their accuracy.
• Key invoices into ASIST and validate them for payment.
• Obtain Vendor W-9 Forms when necessary and communicate payments to vendors.
• Research discrepancies in vendor invoices as needed.
• Review services rendered for warranty coverage and compile customer invoices.
• Notify customers of balances due and process payments received.
• Refund customers for any overages paid toward events.
• Answer customer and vendor calls accurately through research of information.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with individuals or groups to ensure success in daily activities.
• Perform duties as defined in ISO desk procedures and as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two or more years of AP and AR experience preferred.
• Strong PC skills, especially in Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Must have a credit check on-file.
