About the position

TRAVELSAVERS is searching for an Accounting Clerk to support the accounting department with accounts payables and accounts receivables. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including data entry, collections management, and general ledger accounting. The Accounting Clerk will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with financial regulations. This position is crucial for maintaining the financial integrity of the organization and ensuring that all transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner. In this role, the Accounting Clerk will perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, utilizing accounting software to maintain financial records. The candidate will be responsible for processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, supporting the finance team in reconciling accounts, and handling filing and administrative tasks as needed. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of debits and credits, as well as proficiency in data entry and clerical tasks. Attention to detail and accuracy in work is essential, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within the team. This full-time position requires a commitment to working Monday through Friday, with an expected workload of 40 hours per week. The Accounting Clerk will play a vital role in ensuring the financial operations of TRAVELSAVERS run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
