About the position

The Accounting Clerk position at BG Staffing - BG Multifamily involves supporting a non-profit organization with various accounting tasks. This role is contract-based with the potential for conversion to a permanent position and operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring three days of onsite work each week. The primary focus is on ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and assisting with corporate accounting functions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Assist with corporate accounting tasks, including maintaining the general ledger and preparing financial statements.
  • Support billing and A/P departments while working with Paycor and Sage Intaact.
  • Support budgeting activities by providing necessary data and analysis to assist in financial planning.
  • Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency within the department.
  • Utilize Paycor, Ramp, Sage Intaact and Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

  • Associates or higher education preferred but not required.
  • 1+ years of accounting experience.
  • Non-profit industry experience preferred.
  • Must have experience with A/P, billing and some financial reporting.
