Responsibilities
- Supporting the accounting department and supervisory staff.
- Reviewing invoices, billing statements, and other documents for accuracy.
- Processing invoices, payments, and backups.
- Verifying and reconciling expense reports and processing them in the online banking system.
- Communicating effectively with staff members and vendors on billing and expense-related questions.
- Assisting in month/year-end procedures in an effective and timely manner.
- Assisting in processing weekly check/EFT runs; preparing checks for review, approval, and signature.
- Administering travel, expense, and other related reporting.
Requirements
- 3+ years of working in the accounting field.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Undergraduate degree or 2-year certificate in Accounting preferred.
- Proficient computer skills including general business software (i.e., MS Office, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
