About the position

The Accounting Controller will oversee the financial operations of a dynamic construction company specializing in MEP systems, service, and building management. This role is crucial for managing all aspects of accounting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting to support the company's growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Implement and maintain effective financial controls and systems.
• Collaborate with project managers to track budgets and expenses for construction projects.
• Handle financial audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
