About the position

The Accounting Coordinator will support the efficient operation of the company by assisting with a wide range of administrative and accounting functions. In addition, the Accounting Coordinator will also provide financial analysis and support as required.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile Cost of Sales on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
  • Execute payroll responsibilities for a property, ensuring timely and accurate payment of wages and adherence to company policies and regulations.
  • Make journal or ledger entries and maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Partner with other staff members to compile, analyze, and report financial data for decision-making purposes.
  • Use bookkeeping software and enter information into company files or databases, ensuring all financial records are complete and accurate.
  • Ensure that company bills are paid on time and debts are collected efficiently.
  • Stay current on local, state, and federal financial regulations and policies affecting the company.
  • Assist in special projects and year-end tasks as requested.

Requirements

  • Previous experience interacting with auditors is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Financial or other financial software is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or similar field strongly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
