About The Position

The Accounting Coordinator at Hubbard Broadcasting plays a crucial role in supporting the market controller and business manager with various accounting tasks. Requirements

• Two plus years post high school education, GED, or equivalent in accounting, business, or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of Marketron traffic system is a plus.
• Extremely detailed, highly organized, and excellent analytical skills required.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately and meet deadlines under pressure situations.
• Proven experience working in an environment that requires maintaining confidentiality of information.

Responsibilities

• Assist the market controller and business manager with accounting responsibilities including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Input cash receipts and distribute aging reports to account managers.
• Assist with collections and billing as needed, including making collection calls and sending statements to clients on past due accounts.
• Recommend accounts to be placed with outside collections agency.
• Forward checks to lockbox for deposit and approve credit on sales orders in the Marketron system.
• Manage cash advance clients and review reports to correct orders prior to billing.
• Scan invoices to the Market Controller and order office and break room supplies.
• Open and distribute mail for the business office and complete other duties as assigned.
