About the position

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests
• Verify accuracy of invoices and resolve any discrepancies
• Prepare and process checks for payment
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely payment processing
• Provide support for audits and financial reporting

Requirements

• At least 5 years of previous experience in accounts payable or related field
• Proficient in financial concepts and principles
• Strong knowledge of debits and credits
• Familiarity with corporate accounting practices
• Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
• Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., Epicor, Kronos)
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
