About the position

The Accounting & Finance Coordinator at Renewal by Andersen is a customer-facing role focused on managing accounts receivable, processing payments, and ensuring high levels of homeowner satisfaction. This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication with customers. The coordinator will also be responsible for auditing accounts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting process changes within the finance department.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable with a focus on minimizing bad debt expense.
• Enter payments from homeowners and make decisions on collections.
• Work with managers on escalated cases involving final demand letters and property liens.
• Manage and audit accounts and access to third-party finance lender portals and payment portal.
• Maintain and review key performance indicators, auditing and investigating as appropriate.
• Support and document implementation of process changes.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies involved with payments, refunds, financing, and business adjustments.
• Train other team members on processing payments in portals and Salesforce, maintaining training documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year of finance or accounting experience
