About the position

The Accounting and Finance Intern position at Radio Flyer is designed to support the Finance and Accounting team in various tasks related to financial reporting, monthly close processes, and day-to-day accounting activities. This paid internship offers a valuable opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance to gain practical experience in a recognized leader in the toy industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month end processes including booking journal entries and reconciling key balance sheet accounts
• Shadow various finance departments and assist with testing and implementing strong internal controls
• Prepare financial reporting and analysis on a month-to-month basis
• Support the Finance and Accounting team on day-to-day tasks

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master's degree program in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Strong analytical skills and some experience using Microsoft Excel
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and drive results
