About the position

The Accounting & Finance Internship at Johnson Controls is part of the Future Leaders Internship Program, aimed at providing students with practical experience in a dynamic global environment. Interns will engage in financial analyses, support business unit results, and participate in various professional development activities while working under the supervision of a Finance Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analyses to support and measure business unit results.
• Assist in the planning and analysis of quarterly forecasts and profit plans.
• Analyze monthly financial results and key financial targets.
• Conduct special studies including competitive analysis, industry trend research, and internal benchmarking.
• Lead a set of projects to gain exposure to different business groups within Johnson Controls.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Accounting or Finance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and interact with various business contacts.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous internship experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial modeling and analysis tools.
