NetCentrics is seeking a dynamic individual to lead the Accounting & Finance function, focusing on financial reporting, accounting operations, internal controls, budgeting, and financial planning. Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure all reports comply with GAAP and relevant regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and manage the annual audit process with external auditors.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain efficient financial reporting systems for streamlined data collection.
• Lead and manage core accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and the general ledger.
• Ensure accounting policies, methods, and principles are properly enforced.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure operational liquidity.
• Manage fixed assets, ensuring proper capitalization and depreciation.
• Oversee general accounting functions including month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure accuracy and GAAP compliance in financial statements.
• Handle tax filings and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Perform account reconciliations and promptly resolve discrepancies.
• Support audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Continuously improve internal controls as needed.
• Design and implement a robust internal control system to protect company assets and ensure financial record accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable financial regulations.
• Regularly review and update accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate exposure.
• Lead the development of the annual budget and periodic forecasts, collaborating with department heads to ensure alignment with company goals.
• Monitor actual performance against the budget, analyzing variances.
• Provide recommendations for cost control and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Offer insights and recommendations to support senior management's decision-making.
• Collaborate with business units to support their financial needs and help develop financial plans.
• Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including variance analyses and cash flow forecasts.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and business growth plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, including financial analysis or FP&A.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and Payroll/HRIS systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• CPA certification is a plus but not required.
• Experience in Government Contracting.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
