About the position

The Accounting Finance Systems Manager at Huntington National Bank is responsible for managing the Workday Accounting Center application. This role involves designing, testing, and maintaining accounting data within the application, ensuring consistency of accounting rules across various business lines and applications, and managing controls to guarantee the accuracy of data entering the system.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Accounting teams to build, design, test, and implement accounting rules within Workday Accounting Center.
• Identify efficiency opportunities and develop strategies to source data and leverage the Workday application to automate manual entries.
• Support daily processes including the development and management of data controls to ensure that all required files have been received and processed.
• Resolve posting errors for items that do not post correctly during daily processes.
• Participate in business-driven and finance-led projects, identify impacts to daily processes, and support regression testing or development of any business process changes that may be impacted.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10 Years in accounting or finance
