The Accounting Information Systems (AIS) Manager plays a crucial role in the development, setup, maintenance, and training of all Financial Software Systems within the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring that internal control requirements are met and that there is a correct separation of duties within any financial application. The AIS Manager will work closely with various financial systems, including Workday Adaptive Planning, Sage Quantum, Unit4 Financials, Cybersource, FDC Purchase Order System, HighRadius, E-Automate, and Macola 10, to ensure their effective operation and functionality. In this role, the AIS Manager will develop, manage, and maintain the operation of these financial systems, which includes setting up and changing functionality within any system, managing ongoing system setup and maintenance, and facilitating alignment of financial systems and reporting to support business objectives. Collaboration with the IT department and the user base is essential to maintain or enhance the operation and functionality of accounting systems. Additionally, the AIS Manager will be responsible for developing and managing user training for financial systems and financial literacy, as well as maintaining internal controls through the correct separation of roles and functionalities in the financial system. The AIS Manager will also oversee audit and compliance checks, identify and develop tools to support process improvement, and work within an approved budget to implement cost-saving measures. This position includes direct supervision of an assigned team of accounting professionals, where responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, and addressing employee concerns. Regular communication, team meetings, and one-on-one meetings will be conducted to ensure employee growth and accountability.
