About the position

The Accounting Manager at Cycle Link USA Inc. will play a pivotal role in overseeing and directing the accounting activities of the department. This position requires a strong leader who can manage a team of accounting professionals responsible for various financial functions including financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, reconciliations, and budget preparation. The Accounting Manager will be tasked with recruiting and hiring accounting staff, conducting performance evaluations, and coordinating training programs for new hires while also identifying ongoing training needs for current employees. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, the Accounting Manager will establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation. This includes preparing comprehensive financial statements and reports that encompass disbursements, expenses, tax payments, sales, earnings, cash balances, and other financial results. The role also involves managing all financial reports, ensuring that monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing cycles are completed accurately and on time. Tax planning is a critical component of this position, as the Accounting Manager will be responsible for filing the annual corporate tax return and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The Accounting Manager will also conduct audits of accounts to ensure compliance and will coordinate with outside auditors to provide necessary information for the annual external audit. This role requires collaboration with other departments to improve processes and support the integration of accounting systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and direct the accounting activities of the department.
  • Manage accounting staff responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, reconciliations, and budget preparation.
  • Recruit and hire accounting and financial staff; conduct performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate training programs for new staff and identify training needs for current staff.
  • Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports, including recording disbursements, expenses, tax payments, sales, earnings, cash balances, and other financial results.
  • Manage all financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing cycles.
  • Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; file annual corporate tax return.
  • Audit accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinate with outside auditors for the annual external audit.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.
  • Coordinate with other departments to improve processes and support accounting system integration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) highly desired.
  • International trade accounting experience desired.
  • Bilingual in English/Chinese is required.
  • Proficient in using SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
