Quality Construction Services LLC is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper or Accounting Manager to manage and oversee the company's Bookkeeping and Accounting Department. As a Senior Bookkeeper or Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the accounting and bookkeeping department, ensuring that all financial records are managed efficiently and accurately. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping processes, handling accounts payable, payroll processing, and maintaining good corporate relations with clients and vendors. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day bookkeeping and basic accounting processes.
  • Manage, process, and analyze accounts payable activity, ensuring job-specific invoices from subcontractors are accurate and allocated to the proper customer job and item.
  • Set up vendors and ensure all vendor paperwork such as W-9's, BWC, and General Liability Insurance is collected, on file, and current.
  • Enter bills and make payments via e-check, physical check, bank wire, or ACH.
  • Maintain good corporate relations with clients, vendors, banking institutions, auditors, and other affiliates, identifying needs/questions and communicating effectively.
  • Handle all aspects of bi-weekly payroll processing, including pay, bonuses, and submission of 401k withholdings.
  • Manage monthly credit card and bank account reconciliations and research discrepancies as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining internal control over revenues, assets, and liabilities.
  • Review cost reports with project managers regularly to aid in control of project budgets.
  • Compile reconciliation reports, transaction logs, and produce invoices for cost-plus projects.
  • Manage and prioritize workload.
