About the position

The Accounting Manager for Daily Sales is responsible for coordinating the accurate reporting of sales, cash, banking, and financials for assigned properties. This role involves overseeing the Daily Sales and Accounts Receivable Teams, ensuring the accuracy of daily revenue reports, and communicating results to relevant parties. A strong understanding of revenue management and daily banking is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the accurate reporting of sales, cash, banking, and financials.
• Oversee the Daily Sales and Accounts Receivable Teams for assigned properties.
• Evaluate the accuracy of daily work and compile complete daily revenue reports.
• Communicate results to appropriate parties.
• Manage and develop onsite and distance accounting teams, including hiring and career progression.
• Maintain SOPs and seek improvements in processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Partner with Operations Teams for accurate internal reporting and assist with external reporting.
• Balance daily sales in multiple systems and manage daily cash and banking.
• Resolve variances with the Shared Services Cash and Banking Team.
• Complete internal expenses and reconcile fuel vendor and fuel taxes monthly.
• Assist with end-of-month tasks including posting and auditing inventories and analyzing cost of sales.
• Access and run daily reports from various revenue systems.

Requirements

• Fluent in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.
• Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• High School Degree.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be over 18 with a valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous accounting experience required.
• Associative Degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
