Baker Tilly US, LLP is seeking a Family Office Accounting Manager to join its rapidly growing consulting and accounting firm. This position is integral to our Family Office practice, which provides specialized accounting and consulting services to ultra-high net worth individuals and family clients. The role involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including partnership accounting, financial reporting, cash management, and bill payment, as well as advising on complex intergenerational wealth strategies and best practices. As a member of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with multiple clients, ensuring exceptional service and support in all accounting and administrative functions. In this role, you will oversee the full accounting processes, which includes maintaining and reviewing the general ledger, generating and posting journal entries, coordinating monthly closings, and preparing financial statements along with related workpapers. You will also supervise the accounts payable function and mentor junior staff, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. Your responsibilities will extend to managing payroll coordination with clients and the Family Office payroll team, as well as performing reconciliations and analyses for balance sheet accounts, including inter-company accounts. The Family Office Accounting Manager will also assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax packages, respond to client inquiries, and manage client relationships on a day-to-day basis.
