Delaware North is seeking a Manager - Financial Reporting to join our Global Business Services team in Buffalo, New York. In this pivotal role, you will lead the financial reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and delivered in a timely manner. As a Manager - Financial Reporting, your responsibilities will include coordinating and supporting year-end financial external audits, as well as preparing financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. You will also be responsible for the preparation of quarterly and annual debt compliance reporting packages, communicating results effectively with senior leaders. Your leadership will be crucial in developing your team members by managing their performance, setting clear goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the financial reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of monthly financial reporting and consolidation.
  • Coordinate and support the year-end financial external audits and the preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual debt compliance reporting packages and communicate results with senior leaders.
  • Develop team members by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; professional certification such as CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role or equivalent.
  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statements.
  • Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with other financial systems such as Blackline, Workday, and OneStream a plus.
