About the position

The Accounting Manager (Intercompany and Treasury Services) at VF is responsible for overseeing the intercompany and treasury services staff, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of intercompany accounting and manual wire payment processes. This role involves driving efficiency through systematic solutions, auditing transactions, managing staff, and coordinating with various departments to maintain financial integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee intercompany and treasury services staff and processes.
  • Drive systematic solutions to increase efficiency in intercompany accounting.
  • Audit manual wire payments for accuracy and approval.
  • Review monthly account reconciliations, wire transfer activity, and journal entries.
  • Develop standard reporting formats and processes for the intercompany accounting team.
  • Maintain monthly and annual closing/financial reporting requirements.
  • Manage intercompany accounting staff by planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Reconcile multiple cash disbursement accounts.
  • Assist with audit requests and balance sheet review presentations.
  • Communicate accounting/reporting changes to brand finance.
  • Coordinate accounting transactions with Corporate Tax, Brand Controllers, and Brand Analysts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Advanced Excel and PC skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle and resolve complex issues.
