The Accounting Manager/Senior Accountant position at Robert Half involves a critical role in the development, implementation, and oversight of company-wide accounting policies and controls that align with SEC regulations, US GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. The successful candidate will support the close process, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of month-end and quarter-end close activities, which include journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidation. This role requires collaboration with colleagues in accounting, external financial reporting, the board of directors, and other stakeholder groups to develop and continuously enhance reporting processes. As a subject matter expert on intercompany cross charges, the Accounting Manager/Senior Accountant will conduct related research concerning compensation and streamline existing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and controls. The position also involves supporting external and internal audits by fulfilling all requests in a timely and accurate manner. The candidate will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing staff to build a high-performing team, while also leading operational improvement initiatives and other ad hoc projects. Additionally, the role includes consolidating, reviewing, analyzing, and reporting disaggregated and consolidated results to the Chief Financial Officer and other finance functions, as well as members of senior management. The Accounting Manager/Senior Accountant will oversee all financial activities, including Inventory, Distributor and Sales Commissions, Customer Agreements, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Intercompany transactions, and Consolidation. This position also entails overseeing intercompany accounting and related processes, including process improvements.
