About the position

The Accounting Manager/Supervisor will oversee various accounting functions, including the preparation of financial reports, regular reconciliations, and management of accounts payable and receivable. This role is crucial for implementing process improvements and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage general ledger accounting functions and the preparation of financial reports
  • Oversee the reconciliation of accounts on a regular basis to maintain accuracy
  • Manage fixed asset records and related depreciation schedules
  • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
  • Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing
  • Implement process improvements to enhance accounting procedures
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP in all accounting practices
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of financial data
  • Manage the sales tax reporting process

Requirements

  • Proficiency in executing Accounting Functions in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes and systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
  • Expertise in Auditing procedures and standards
  • Ability to manage and oversee Billing Functions effectively
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
