About the position

The Accounting Manager/Supervisor role at Robert Half is designed for an experienced public accountant transitioning into the industry. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject-matter expert while managing accounting tasks in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures.
  • Coordinate with corporate functions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Conduct compliance research and analysis.
  • Analyze documentation and collaborate with various departments.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in accounting practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong background in Public Accounting Audit.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Proven experience in managing accounting teams or departments is a plus.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability to changes in healthcare industry regulations.
  • Knowledge of financial forecasting and risk analysis is desirable.
  • Strong ethical framework and unquestionable integrity.
  • Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry is a plus.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Proven experience in budget preparation and fiscal management.
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
