Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
• Supervise and ensure efficient and accurate billing operations.
• Handle and oversee the processing of customer credit applications.
• Manage the transfers of money between accounts and prepare weekly cash projection reports.
• Conduct bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
• Handle monthly journal entries and end of year adjustments.
• Assist with audit preparations and cooperate with auditors for year-end audits.
• Calculate commissions for the sales staff and manage profit sharing.
• Oversee the onboarding of new employees, benefits administration, and 401k administration.
• Supervise the department to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning tools to streamline accounting functions.
• Handle payroll for US employees, including those based in Puerto Rico.
• Conduct regular reports to vendors using POS systems.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential.
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary.
• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions efficiently.
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Proficiency in conducting Auditing tasks.
• Familiarity with Billing Functions is required.
