About the position

The Accounting Manager/Supervisor position offers a hybrid opportunity to work directly on funds and the firm's balance sheet. The role involves preparing quarterly GAAP financial statements, managing the closure of credit funds, and generating daily financial reports. The position also includes responsibilities related to lender reporting, annual audits, and collaboration with the Tax team on various financial tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly GAAP financial statements and manage the monthly and/or quarterly closure of credit funds.
• Prepare daily financial reports, including performance, valuation, exposure, attribution, and counterparty exposure data.
• Manage lender reporting and prepare portfolio reports for lender compliance.
• Assist with managing and coordinating for the annual audit.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to gather and provide organizational structure details and asset position data.
• Collaborate with the Tax team to manage quarterly tax estimates, annual tax tasks, and various ad-hoc tax structuring projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in the asset management space.
• Understanding and experience with GAAP accounting and reporting requirements.
• Knowledge and experience with investment partnership accounting.
