Join the Transdev team in the Accounting Department as an Accounting Manager. This role is pivotal in performing various accounting and finance functions essential for the smooth operation of our multi-cost center division. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for daily billing file updates, payroll processing, month-end activities, and biweekly reconciliations. This position ensures accurate reporting of hourly employee payroll times, paid time off, and other payroll distributions. Additionally, the role involves updating spreadsheets for Billing, Fares Recon, Attendance, and PTOs. The salary range for this opportunity is $90,000 - $105,000. The Accounting Manager reports to the General Manager of a multi-cost center division, with a dotted line reporting requirement to the Regional Finance team. Key responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the month-end close, which encompasses posting journal entries, conducting variance analysis, and preparing financial statements for multiple on-site cost centers. The manager will also be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the balance sheet, including monthly reconciliations, and ensuring accurate inventory and consumption records. Close collaboration with the inventory management team is essential to ensure compliance with company standards. In this role, the Accounting Manager will manage the local on-site accounting team, with direct responsibility for client billing and accounts payable, including training and developing staff. Monthly tracking and analysis of job/project costs against budget and contracts by cost center will be required, along with monthly forecasting and annual budgets for all cost centers. The manager will monitor Accounts Receivable accuracy and collections, set up new vendors and clients according to company policy, review and approve Accounts Payable invoices, and review subcontractor invoices for proper allocation to jobs. Additional duties may be assigned by the General Manager and/or Division Finance team as needed.
