About the position
As the Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of the organization overseeing the AP, AR, and Payroll functions. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising a team of employees. The successful candidate will serve as support for both external and internal audits.
Responsibilities
- Manage AOI US AP/AR and Payroll
- Train, mentor, and supervise employees
- Assist in external and internal audits
- Coordinate with Treasury team to manage the cash flow
- Perform and review certain balance sheet reconciliations
- Propose process improvement in AP/AR/Payroll if needed
- Other duties to assist Controller
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Prefer a CPA license but not required
- Prefer 10 years of experience in AP/AR/Payroll
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems, familiar with SAP is a plus
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Adhere to AOI's policies and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications
- Minimum Travel required
