About the position

The Accounting Manager at CCR is responsible for leading the Accounting Team, overseeing daily operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and provides strategic financial insights to support business decisions, thereby maintaining the financial integrity of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and ensure the accuracy of all general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare, monitor, and analyze the company's budget, forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Implement and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with corporate policies and tax regulations.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, preparing documentation and managing audit requests.
  • Oversee the management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets to ensure accurate processing and timely payments/collections.
  • Identify opportunities for streamlining accounting operations and improving overall financial efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of accounting and leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Proficient use of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, and other account reporting.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex financial data.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of tax regulations, auditing processes, and financial compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central.
