About the position

Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Manager for a well-established and growing company. This position is crucial for the financial health of the organization, as the Accounting Manager will be responsible for preparing financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, and managing cash flow. The role also involves establishing budgets and forecasts, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. Responsibilities

• Provide monthly P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis
• Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
• Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Coordinating reviews and testing with external stakeholders
• Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
• Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
• Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or Business
• 4+ years of overall general accounting experience
• General familiarity with US GAAP
• Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload
• Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
• Financial statement prep and analysis experience is a plus
• Exposure to the month end close process
• Strong communication Skills
